Adam was born on April 22, 1992, to parents of Italian ancestry. He was born in the United States in Kingston, New Hampshire. He was unable to communicate after birth until he was three years old. He had a condition of smelling things that were not even present while he was in pre-school and primary school at “Sandy Hook Elementary School.” He was constantly washing his hands. His doctor then diagnosed him with Sensory Processing Disorder.
Adam Lanza took speech therapy lessons when he was a child. Adam’s mental state altered when he reached the age of eleven. He stopped playing and even forbade himself from celebrating his birthdays. He suffered from panic episodes on several occasions. He attended Sandy Hook Elementary School until the eighth grade when he transferred to Newtown High School. Adam struggled at Newtown High School and transferred to Western Connecticut State University to get a diploma.
