Alex Kingston

Alex Kingston sobbed at her wedding to her third husband, Jonathan Stamp, on July 18, 2015. The wedding took place at the All Saints Anglican Church in Rome, Italy, where the Doctor Who star went down the aisle for the third time in her life.

Kingston, surprisingly, donned a pastel green skirt instead of the typical white gown. Similarly, her husband, Stamp, wore a white shirt and a black suit. Her daughter, Salome Violetta Haertel, was among the bridesmaids, dressed in her black prom gown.

The actress was married to actor Ralph Fiennes for a while before marrying freelance journalist Florian Haertel. Kingston met Fiennes while studying at London’s Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. Before marrying him in 1993, she dated him for 10 years. Unfortunately, their marriage did not endure more than four years when Fiennes chose the love of actress Francesca Annis, who was eighteen years his senior. Ralph Fiennes was Alex Kingston’s first wife.

After their divorce in 1997, Kingston felt worthless and was plagued by suicidal thoughts. She relocated from the United Kingdom to Los Angeles in an effort to escape the turbulence surrounding her marital problems. After almost two decades, the actress acknowledged that she had forgotten about the misery she had been forced to through.
“I no longer have any feelings for him or her [Annis]. I can’t believe I was ever married to him after all these years “In 2012, Kingston revealed with Standard.

She also remembered seeing the 2005 picture The Constant Gardener, starring Ralph Fiennes, as the first time she saw him on screen following their divorce. Kingston said that she watched the whole film with ease and liked the experience of seeing her ex-husband on the big screen. The actress claimed she loved Fiennes’ performance but was not emotionally connected to him, which she described as a positive thing. According to her, time may have healed her emotional traumas, as well as her second marriage, which may have helped her look forward in life.

Alex Kingston’s second husband Florian Haertel

Kingston married for the second time in 1998, this time to her second husband, Haertel. However, in the year 2010, they chose to part ways. On October 30, 2009, Haertel filed for divorce against Kingston at the Los Angeles County Superior Courts, Stanley Mosk Courthouse in California. While Kingston was represented by Spiegel Lance Stephen, Haertel was represented by Wiesner Susan Elizabeth.

Kingston and the German journalist have a daughter named Salome, who was born on March 28, 2001. Kingston’s daughter starred as Ella Greene, the daughter of Dr. Elizabeth Corday, a character portrayed by her real-life mother, in the episode ER: On the Beach [2002]. In an interview with The Daily Mail in 2015, she discussed their mother-daughter connection. The actress, who reportedly lived with the constant guilt of leaving her daughter at home while working long hours, revealed that her daughter would tell her not to worry because her absence was understandable.
