Brady Ebert A Founding Member Of Turnstile Has Left The Band

Brady Ebert

Turnstile told followers of the decision through an Instagram story on Friday, August 12, writing: “Turnstile and guitarist Brady Ebert have split up.” We are appreciative of the time we spent together. Our affection for him endures, and we wish him nothing but the best in the future.”

Ebert hasn’t said anything about his resignation from the organization. There is currently no further information available. Turnstile made the news ahead of their autumn tour in the United States with Snail Mail and JPEGMAFIA. On August 4, certain outlets stated that Turnstile’s percussionist Daniel Fang had requested a peace order against Ebert. Given this, many speculate that Ebert’s departure may have something to do with the order.

On August 11, a hearing for Fang’s peace order against Brady Ebert was held.

When someone is accused of abusing, stalking, harassing, or ruining someone else’s property, a peace order is issued. This month saw two hearings on Fang’s peace order. If approved, the injunction would prevent Ebert from contacting, abusing, or approaching Fang. The order, however, was rescinded. Lambgoat referenced an August 11 final hearing in the District Court of Maryland, when it was apparently declared that there was no statutory basis for relief. The judgment said that there is insufficient evidence to implement the order and that it is outside the scope of the law.

Brady Ebert is a founder member of Turnstile, which was founded in 2010.

Brady Ebert and singer Brendan Yates launched Turnstile in 2010. After that, bassist and singer Franz Lyons, drummer Daniel Fang, and guitarist Sean Cullen joined the band. Pat McCrory became over when Cullen departed in 2015. Ebert contributed to the band’s three studio albums: Nonstop Feeling (2016), Time and Space (2018), and Glow On (2021).

Turnstile Love Connection, the band’s sixth EP, was released in June 2021. Yates also directed a short film of the same name, which was also distributed. Glow On, Turnstile’s most recent album was released in August 2021. Glow On is the band’s first record to have a featured artist, with Blood Orange, a British singer/songwriter, and producer, making an appearance.
