Britney Spears’ Ex-Husband Jason Alexander Was Arrested For Trespassing

Jason Alexander

Jason Alexander, the ex-husband of American pop sensation Britney Spears, was arrested on June 9 for ramming into the singer’s Ventura County house. Jason seems to have live-streamed the assault on Instagram. Alexander married Spears in Las Vegas in 2004, but the marriage lasted barely 55 hours before it was called off. In one video, he is seen walking around the property and yelling at someone:

“I was invited here by Britney Spears.” She is my first and only wife. “I’ve come to ruin the wedding.”

In another video, he approaches a tented wedding setting with a big floral backdrop, where the staff seems to be wrapping off the festivities. It’s unclear how he managed to get past security and move about freely at what was intended to be a modest and well-supervised meeting. Before the footage fades out, he is accosted by security and seems to be tackled to the ground. In a TMZ video, Alexander is seen laying on the ground with guards holding him down.

Authorities arrested Britney Spears’ ex-husband on suspicion of trespassing.

On June 9, officers responded to a trespassing allegation, according to Ventura County Sheriff’s Capt. Cameron Henderson. Officers apprehended Alexander at the wedding site after obtaining a warrant for his arrest in another county. Lawyer Mathew Rosengart, whom Spears selected to negotiate the conservatorship on her behalf, confirmed Alexander’s arrest in a statement to Page Six.

“I’d want to thank the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department for their timely reaction and excellent job.” I’m collaborating with law enforcement to guarantee that Mr. Alexander is rigorously prosecuted to the full extent of the law.”

Alexander attended a #FreeBritney event in Los Angeles during her conservatorship battle in 2020. He told Us Magazine at the time:

“I’m here to express my support for Britney and the #FreeBritney campaign. This has been a terrible scenario in her life for a long time. It has influenced both me and her, therefore I am a part of it.”

Alexander is not unfamiliar with the legal system. He has previously been arrested for a variety of charges, including DUI, narcotics possession, trespassing, and stalking.

On June 9, he also made a joke regarding Britney Spears. He names Spears’ family members and close friends before requesting an investigation, but he doesn’t elaborate. He says:

“Let’s go through their receipts.” “Track the money.”

Britney Spears confirmed her engagement to longtime lover Sam Asghari in September 2021. Spears was liberated from conservatorship in November when a judge ruled in her favor, ending a 13-year arrangement that had legally barred her from making her own personal and financial choices.
