“Cars On The Road” Is Set To Release Soon By Disney

Pixar is producing a Cars spin-off for Disney+ called Cars On The Road. On September 8, 2022, a nine-part cartoon series starring Lightning McQueen and Mater will premiere. Owen Wilson and Larry the Cable Guy will voice McQueen and Mater. Bonnie Hunt will play Sally Carrera, Cheech Marin Ramone, Lloyd Sherr Fillmore, and Quinta Brunson Ivy. Steve Purcell wrote and produced the Cars spin-off. The Pixar series is explained.

When And Where To Watch Cars On The Road on?

Cars On The Road will debut on Disney+ on September 8, 2022. Lightning McQueen and Mater will return in nine new episodes. The streamer will launch new Marvel, Pixar, Star Wars, Disney, and National Geographic programming. Fans and subscribers will get exclusive experiences. Disney+ updates at 3 am ET/12 am PT, so fans may watch Pixar after that. Since it was made for Disney+, it won’t be on HBO, Netflix, etc.

Cars On The Road

The series follows three Cars films and two animated shows, Mater’s Tall Tales (2008-2012) and Tales from Radiator Springs (2013-14). Steve Purcell (Eps 1, 2, 8), Bobby Podesta (Eps 5, 6, 9), and Brian Fee (Eps 3, 4, 7) direct the spin-off, while Jake Monaco composed all nine episodes.

Cars On The Road trailer and expectations

The spin-off teaser showed Lightning McQueen and Mater on another journey. In addition to McQueen and Mater, several Cars characters appear in the series. Cars On The Road is the franchise’s first TV series. McQueen and Mater will travel across the U.S. to attend Mater’s sister’s wedding. Various episodes will contain different circumstances and difficulties. Dinosaur-like autos, for example. Steve Purcell remarked, “Lightning McQueen and Mater race across the nation. Every day is a mini-adventure with unanticipated twists and turns.”

 

In addition to franchise characters, the series will contain new settings and characters. Planes (2013) and Planes: Fire & Rescue (2014) characters will reportedly feature in the next series.
