Case Keenum was born on February 17, 1988, in Brownwood, Texas, United States of America. He spent his early years in Alpine, Texas, before relocating to Abilene, Texas. Casey Austin Keenum is his given name or birth name.

The Case is the son of Steve Keenum, a former offensive lineman at McMurry University who later served as head football coach and athletic director, and Susan Keenum. The elder Keenum was also the head coach at Sul Ross State, the offensive coordinator at Tarleton State, and the offensive line coach at Hardin-Simmons.

The Case is an American citizen and a member of the American-White nationality. His Zodiac sign is Aquarius. Additionally, he has two sisters, Allison Simmons and Lauren Wray. Early Days Of His Football Career

He began his football career at Wylie High School. During his high school football career, he passed for 6,783 yards and 48 touchdowns and rushed for 41 and 2,000 yards for the Bulldogs. He began his college career in 2006 with the Houston Cougars. He redshirted his freshman season in 2006. Case Keenum made his collegiate debut on September 1, 2007, against Oregon as the Cougars opened the season. He completed 14 27 passes for 179 yards and a touchdown against the Ducks and added 47 rushing yards on nine carries.

Case started seven of the season’s thirteen games at quarterback. He threw for 2,259 yards, 14 touchdowns, and ten interceptions. In 2008, he became the second player in school history to pass for over 5,000 yards in a single season. He finished the 2009 season with 48 total touchdowns and more than 5,800 yards on offense. In 2010, he tore his ACL against UCLA in the Cougars’ third game, ending his season.

On October 20, he threw his first NFL touchdown pass, a 29-yarder to DeAndre Hopkins, in his pro debut. Additionally, he completed 15 of 25 passes for 271 yards and a touchdown, good for the season’s highest passer rating by a Texan quarterback. Houston, on the other hand, lost 17-16.

The Texans later waived him on August 31, 2014. The following day, he was claimed off waivers by the St. Louis Rams and waived on October 28, 2014. On October 30, he re-signed with the team’s practice squad. On December 15, 2014, he was signed off the Rams practice squad and assigned to the Houston Texans, filling a roster spot. He won his first NFL game on December 21, 2014, defeating the Baltimore Ravens 25-13. He won his second consecutive game with the Texans against the Jacksonville Jaguars 23-17 on December 28, 2014.

Keenum was acquired from the Texans on March 11, 2015, in exchange for a 2016 seventh-round draft pick. Additionally, he led the Rams to victories over the Detroit Lions, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Seattle Seahawks.
