Cat Cora And Corbin Bleu Won The Title Of The Real Dirty Dancing

Cat Cora

The first season of The Real Dirty Dancing has over. Cat Cora and Corbin Bleu were crowned Best Baby and Johnny in the finals, defeating Tyler Cameron and Anjelah Johnson-Reyes. The last task was to replicate the final dance from the classic film Dirty Dancing. The couples were required to learn the routine of the song Time of My Life, which includes the famed lift previously masterfully done by OG Johnny (Patrick Swayze) and Baby (Jennifer Grey). Cora-Bleu and Johnson-Cameron both had incredible performances, and both couples nailed the lift. Fans, on the other hand, were pulling for Johnson-Cameron to win the finals.

What do fans have to say about it?

The performances of both couples were praised by the audience. One team included professional dancer/actor Bleu opposite chef Cora, while the other had former cheerleader Johnson alongside heartthrob Cameron. Throughout the season, the Bachelor Nation alum played the ideal Johnny. As a result, he had a large number of supporters. While both performances were well received by spectators, some wished Cameron and Johnson had won Season 1 of The Real Dirty Dancing.

The journey of Tyler Cameron and Anjelah Johnson-Reyes on The Real Dirty Dancing

Cameron and Johnson didn’t start as partners on The Real Dirty Dancing. She was paired with talk show presenter Loni Love in the first episode, while Johnson was paired with Backstreet Boy Howie Dorough. Cameron was given the option to choose his Baby after winning the first round, and he selected Johnson. On the reality program, the duo was the perfect Dirty Dancing couple. From their body language to their dancing routines, the couple resembled the original Johnny and Baby.

The couples were given the last exercise in which they had to reproduce the film’s parting moment in the end. It was the moment Johnny got fired for being with Baby. While Cora and Bleu repeated every scenario, the comic and Cameron added their spin. Instead of Cameron getting into the vehicle and driving away, Johnson took on the role and left everyone in splits. The Real Dirty Dancing finale drew many moviegoers, and the finalists had to dance in front of a live audience. The audience was then asked to vote for the winning duo.
