David Justice was drafted as a baseball player by the Atlanta Braves in 1989. He worked with them for seven years until leaving in 1996. Then, in January 2003, he announced his retirement from baseball. He began working as a broadcaster after retiring. First, he served as a pundit on ESPN baseball broadcasts for two years. The YES Network then appointed him.
