David Mayer de Rothschild was born on August 25, 1978, in London, England. He is the youngest of two children born to Sir Evelyn de Rothschild and Victoria Lou Schott. His father was the owner of the English Rothschild banking family, and his mother was an American and the daughter of a real estate developer.
