Doja Cat Makes An April Fools’ Joke

On April 1, the 26-year-old took to Twitter and wrote, “I’m Pregnant,” before releasing a series of other cryptic posts. Soon after, the singer tweeted again, saying, “HAHAHA, U ALL JUST GOT PRANKED! I don’t have telekinesis, Nicholas cage never hacked me, I’m not pregnant, I don’t get butt shots, and I’ve never p***ed on stage!!!

Doja Cat’s Tweet Caused A Debate On The Platform

Many fans chastised Doja for her pregnancy-related tweet, but many others defended her.

One fan expressed their displeasure, writing, “Really don’t like the fact that Doja Cat used “I’m pregnant” as an April Fools joke.”

Other Twitter users quickly defended the Say So singer.

“Just because you’ve been through something terrible doesn’t give you the right to tell people what they can and cannot joke about; if you don’t like it, ignore it.” “You can’t expect the world to accommodate your sensitivities,” one user wrote.

Just because you’ve been through a traumatic experience does not give you the right to dictate what people can and cannot joke about; if you don’t like it, ignore it. You can’t expect the rest of the world to accommodate your sensitivities.

What Happened Between Doja Cat And Paraguayan Fans?

It all started when Doja went to perform at Paraguay’s Asunciónico festival. The show, however, had to be canceled. Some chastised the singer for failing to interact with and greet fans outside her hotel, where they had apparently waited for hours to see her.

Doja was quick to share her thoughts on what had happened. She made it clear in a series of frantic tweets that she would be leaving music because she was dissatisfied with how her fans reacted.

Doja stated in the now-deleted tweet that when she left the hotel, there was not a single fan waiting for her.

“There was a storm in Paraguay, so the show was canceled,” the singer explained. When I left the next morning, there was no one waiting for me outside the hotel.

“Think about that for a moment. I’m sorry I wasted so much time getting ready for the show that day; I’ve been working hard every day to put on a show for you, but God bless.”
