Dominic Holland began performing stand-up comedy at London’s Comedy Café in 1991. Eddie Izzard handled him in 1993. Holland’s one-man show won the Perrier Best Newcomer award at the Edinburgh Fringe.

Holland supported Eddie Izzard in 1993. Holland returned to Edinburgh in 1994. 1996 Perrier Award nomination for Edinburgh Festival performance. 2006 marked Holland’s return to Edinburgh. Holland’s first stand-up DVD was recorded at Tring’s Court Theatre in October 2012.

Holland appeared on Central Television After Hours with Harry Hill in 1993. In 1998, he captained Graham Norton’s Bring Me the Head of Light Entertainment.
