Edward James Olmos, the star of Battlestar Galactica, has been married three times. After his first two marriages failed, he married his third wife, Lymari Nadal. Nadal, like Olmos, is an actress. Olmos and his wife also collaborated on Battlestar Galactica. However, it was their 31-year age gap that drew the most attention to their marriage. Several allegations surfaced at the time claiming that their relationship was in shambles. Lymari revealed to the magazine TVyNovelas Puerto Rico in 2013 that they had been separated. “Right now, we’re apart for a time,” she said.
Lymari also revealed further details regarding their connection. “He’s a fantastic guy, and we had a fantastic connection.” He’s like a father figure to my kid.”

Olmos had been married twice before he met Lymari. His first marriage was to actress Howard Keel’s daughter, Kaija Keel. Olmos and Kaija received two children after their wedding on December 29, 1971: sons Bodie Olmos and Mico Olmos, both of whom have followed in their father’s footsteps and become actors. Mico has appeared in a number of shows, including American Playhouse (1982), Testament (1983), Human Error (2004), and Filly Brown (2006). (2012).
Bodie was also featured in American Playhouse with his brother Mico. Stand and Deliver (1988), American Family (2002), Resilience (2006), and Battlestar Galactica are some of the numerous TV programs and movies in which he has appeared (2004-2009). Olmos, in addition to his two children with Kaija, adopted four more children: Daniela, Michael, Brandon, and Tamiko.

Olmos divorced his first wife, Kaija, in 1992, after almost two decades of marriage. The actor subsequently went on to date Lorraine Bracco from The Sopranos. They married on January 28, 1994, in the Versailles Room of New York’s St. Regis Hotel. The wedding had 100 people in attendance, and Olmos was led by his four sons. Bracco said that their children had a significant role in their going down the aisle during their wedding.
“The kids urged us to marry,” she said. “It was them who kept saying, ‘Come on!'” Unfortunately, their marriage did not work out well. After five years of separation, the couple divorced in 2002.
