Elizabeth Marz Admitted To Being Terrified By Heard’s Ex-Husband Johnny Depp

Elizabeth Marz

Elizabeth Marz, a friend of American actress Amber Heard, said that she used to be afraid of Heard’s ex-husband, Johnny Depp. Marz’s declaration against the Pirates of the Caribbean actor was played in Virginia’s Fairfax court on May 18, where the high-profile defamation case is being heard. Marz said she was with Heard at the couple’s luxury apartment when Depp stormed in carrying a full bottle of wine.

She described Depp’s instant response, revealing that he mumbled:

“Get out of here, you b****.”

Elizabeth Marz went on to say:

“He raced inside the flat, which terrified me since he was intoxicated and yelling. Anyone…would flee if a grown a** guy came at them and said, ‘Get your b***h outta here,’ while brandishing a magnum-sized bottle of wine.”

She continued, saying she was hiding in the house because she was afraid of what Johnny Depp may do. Marz further claimed that part of the mess Depp allegedly left in his penthouse after the confrontation with Heard was cleaned up by the couple’s guests. Marz described Depp as “combative” and “upset” in the May 21, 2016 altercation in which he allegedly assaulted Amber Heard.

“It was more confrontational than clumsy. It was exactly how he entered the room — burst in, his intensity… It was terrifying. My heart was racing so fast that I panicked out.”

Elizabeth Marz also said that she had not observed Johnny abuse Amber directly.

Amber Heard’s makeup artist also testified about the actress’s allegations of domestic violence.

Following Marz’s video, former cosmetics artist Amber Heard’s pal Melanie Inglessis’ video testimony was shown in the Fairfax County Courthouse. In the video, which was posted on February 2, 2021, Inglessis describes to Heard’s attorney Elaine Bredehoft how she repaired the actress’ allegedly bruised face for a December 16, 2015 appearance on James Cordon’s CBS late-night program.

“We used a thicker concealer to hide the bruising.” A bright crimson lipstick to conceal the lip damage.”

Depp is suing his ex-wife for defamation over an op-ed she wrote for The Washington Post in 2018 in which she described herself as “a public figure representing domestic violence.” Although the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory actor is not identified in the piece, his lawyers claim that it falsely portrays him as a domestic abuser, which he categorically denies. As a consequence, Amber Heard is suing him for $50 million.
