ENHYPEN’s Sunghoon Fainted At The John F. Kennedy International Airport In New York

ENHYPEN’s Sunghoon

ENHYPEN supporters are concerned about the absence of an official announcement about Sunghoon’s health after he fainted on October 18, 2022, at JFK airport in New York. Fans flocked to JFK airport to wave goodbye to the Future Perfect (Pass the Mic) performers, as is customary. With almost everyone’s phone documenting the group’s movements, several people caught the ENHYPEN member collapsing in the midst of the queue. Sunghoon is a former national-level ice skater who will be 20 in two months. Fans were curious about the harsh circumstances that afflicted the national athlete’s physique. They quickly started criticizing the agency for bad management and tight deadlines.

The fainting of ENHYPEN’s Sunghoon at the airport raises concerns about overwork and tight deadlines.

On October 15, 2022, ENHYPEN finished the US leg of their MANIFESTO World Tour. Anaheim, Fort Worth, Houston, Atlanta, Chicago, and New York were among the six cities where the septet performed. The constant flights and concert appearances coincided with the groups’ preparation for SADAME, their first complete Japanese album, which is set to be released on October 26. Fans remarked that the members’ schedules looked to be taking a toll, particularly Sunghoon. Sunghoon’s health triggered serious red flags in the fans as he was going abroad through JFK airport.

A video released on Twitter by @ nonfn recorded instances when the star seemed disoriented. Ni-ki and Sunoo stood by him, concerned. The idol passed out after just a few paces. According to some supporters, an ambulance was sent, and Sunghoon was taken away for medical attention. He had a short break before rejoining the rest of the company for the journey.

Needless to say, fans chastised the group’s agency, BELIFT LAB, for overworking them to the point where their bodies couldn’t keep up. Concerned fans questioned if it would require exceptional circumstances for a national-level athlete’s health to decline to this point. While some fans assumed it was due to a significant lack of sleep, others speculated that it may be due to fatigue as a whole.

They were also concerned about other members. In a recent V LIVE, Jay said that he wanted to stop losing weight since it was giving him a lot of worries. Fans are horrified to learn that the group’s youngest member, Ni-ki, is also under pressure. Ni-ki is still an adolescent, turning 17 (international age) in December of this year. At the time of writing, BELIFT LAB has not responded and updated followers about Sunghoon’s condition in an official announcement.

ENHYPEN’s next public appearances will be in Japan for six nights. SADAME, the septet’s first full-length Japanese album, will be released on October 26, 2022. The Japan portion of the MANIFESTO tour is now in the works, with dates in Aichi on November 1 and 2, Osaka on November 9 and 10, and Kanagawa on November 15 and 16. Several year-end award events need large-scale live performances. ENHYPEN is anticipated to put on a display worthy of its million-seller status.
