When it comes to her professional career, Erica’s began when she was sixteen years old, when she reached the finals of her first national event in Houston. She was named NHRA Sportsman Rookie of the Year as a result, and she became the NHRA’s youngest national event finalist. Following that, she faced four difficult years of honing her winning abilities. In 2004, she won the first race in the Super Gas class in Houston. She was the first woman to compete in the NHRA’s Pro Stock category since 1993, as well as the first woman to qualify for a Pro Stock race’s final round.

Erica is the first woman in NHRA Pro Stock history to qualify in the top half of a field.
