Emeli Sandé has admitted to being in a new relationship. The singer previously married Adam Gouraguine, with whom she divorced in 2014.

Emeli Sande Confirms New Relationship

Moving on, Emeli Sandé’s fans are overjoyed for her after she reveals that she has found “the one for life” and that she is “happier than ever.” According to Metro, it’s “difficult” when you don’t have someone to celebrate your success and achievements in life.

“It’s very difficult if you don’t have someone to share it with or someone supporting you behind the scenes,” Emeli admitted.

“So now I feel very fulfilled: I’ll always love music and my career, but it just feels like, regardless of what happens, I can just enjoy life and be really happy.”

Regarding her love life, Emeli revealed in the interview that her girlfriend is a classical pianist and that they met while the singer was studying classical music.

Emeli has yet to reveal her partner’s name or identity, possibly because she wants to keep their relationship private for the time being. It’s also unclear how long the two have been together, but they fell in love thanks to their shared love of music.

“We met through music,” the Beneath Your Beautiful singer explained. “And I’m happier than I’ve ever been.” It feels fantastic.”

Emeli went on to say that her relationship with her partner inspired her upcoming album Let’s Say For Example, which will be released on May 6th of this year. From 2012 to 2014, she was married to marine biologist Adam Gouraguine. She told The New York Times at the time that she was “pretending to be someone else” during their relationship.

“There was just something inside me saying, ‘This isn’t the life.'” You’re impersonating someone else.’ “I don’t want to call it a breakdown, but it felt like one,” she told the publication.
