Fairouz Ai Kadota (, Kadota Fairzu Ai) was born in Tokyo on July 6, 1993, to a Japanese mother and an Egyptian father. Fairuz, a Lebanese singer, inspired her name. Before returning to Japan, she attended Cairo Japanese School for a few years of primary school.
