In 1976, he organized and abducted a bus load of children in Northern California. Telling you the truth about what occurred in July of 1976. On July 15, 1976, School Bus Driver Frank Edward (Ed Ray) was driving his bus full of 26 pupils. Dairyland Elementary School provided all of the kids. They were on their way to the swimming pool at the Chowchilla Fairgrounds when a vehicle in front of them blocked the traffic. The bus came to a halt as the driver saw three armed individuals in front of him. Frederick Woods, James, and Richard Schoenfeld were the three.
One of the three placed the pistol to the driver’s head, while the other drove the bus. They took the bus 100 kilometers from Chowchilla to Livermore. The next day, July 16, the three kidnappers ordered the children and driver to climb down in a ladder excavation. Kidnappers have already loaded a vehicle with a little quantity of food, water, and beds in the excavation. Later, kids and drivers successfully broke free from the excavation and fled when the captors were sleeping. Kidnappers requested $5 million USD at the time. Soon later, the police apprehended all three kidnappers.
