Grady began her modeling career for Montgomery Ward by appearing in several advertisements. She was in the area where Michael J. Fox’s character pursued after a Diet Pepsi. She eventually started to make cameo appearances, usually as an evil. She made her film début in the 1988 romance comedy, and she subsequently appeared as a regular character on the ABC soap China Beach, starring Dana Delany.
