George Eads was born in Fort Worth, Texas, to Author Coleman Eads and Vivian Baker on March 1, 1967. Angela Eads Tekell is his only sibling. Belton High School was where he finished his education. Later, he attended Texas Tech University and earned a degree in marketing. He was a member of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity in college.
Before pursuing a career in acting, Eads worked as a copy machine salesman among other odd jobs. He also used to sell Cintas first aid and safety supplies.
