Gloria Reuben Discusses Her Dating Experience With Eriq La Salle

Gloria Reuben

During a Hallmark interview, Reuben and her co-star discussed their new film, and at the conclusion, they played the “this or that” game. The two took turns asking each other questions, and one of Reuben’s was whether he would rather go on a blind date or swipe on a dating app. They couldn’t use a dating app because people would identify them, according to Reuben. The actress recalls doing it once for 10 days but failing. She attempted to conceal her popularity by going incognito, but every male recognized her and inquired whether she was an actress.

La Salle said that he would prefer to go on a blind date if someone he knew set him up, which Reuben agreed was the only way they could date. La Salle then asked the actress whether she preferred a unique opening or someone with comparable interests on a dating app. “I wouldn’t need the unique opener if I were on an app.” “Similar hobbies are OK, but not a unique opening,” Reuben said.
