The Food Network maintains its tradition of fusing Hollywood with cookery. Guy’s Ultimate Game Night, the network’s next cookery program, will debut on August 31 at 9.00 p.m. ET. The program is presented by Guy Fieri, a chef and restaurateur who is working with the network for the sixth time. The new program will include conversation shows, food games, and Hollywood personalities. Viewers will watch celebrities from many disciplines compete in the culinary competition, which they must win in order to earn a big cash prize to present to a charity of their choosing.
According to the show’s official synopsis:
“Celebrity participants compete in front of a live studio audience for the opportunity to win prizes for their favorite charity on the new game show, which puts a culinary twist on traditional party games. Chef Antonia Lofaso oversees the whole competition, as the celebrities interact with food in the hands-on challenge and put their culinary skills to the test with quizzes and word puzzles. They must be alert since they never know what Guy would hurl at them. Let the fun begin!”

More About Guy’s Ultimate Game Night
Guy has asked some of his close Hollywood friends and acquaintances to compete in his culinary game at the next culinary event. Celebrities will participate in culinary-themed party games, word puzzles, and quizzes. More precisely, the games will feature chores such as garnishing a pizza to look like Fieri, blindly decorating a cake, and an experimental “Cooktionary,” which will be a food-themed version of Pictionary.
The games that will be played on the program include Hot Potato, Charade the Pantry, Cloche Encounters, and Shop ‘Til You Drop. Furthermore, in the press announcement, Jane Latman, President, Home & Food Content and Streaming, Warner Bros. Discovery, gave her thoughts on the new culinary show. She stated:
“Guy’s Ultimate Game Night is unlike any other culinary game show. Audiences will enjoy playing along at home, attempting to guess the answers, and learning new culinary facts.”
She went on:
“We get to attend the party and enjoy the amusing games hosted by Guy Fieri, the game master himself.”
Fiery will be aided, though, by chef Antonio Lofaso, who has previously participated in culinary series such as Top Chef, Chopped, and Cutthroat Kitchen.
