Has Danielle Rose Russell lost Weight Since She Was Body Shamed?

Danielle Rose Russell

Body-shaming is a persistent problem in Hollywood, with many celebrities being chastised by fans for minor changes in their appearance.

Danielle Rose Russell, an actress, is no exception to the suffrage that Hollywood celebrities must endure. When it was reported in May 2018 that she would reprise her role as Hope Mikaelson on The CW’s Legacies, a spinoff of The Originals, she was met with a barrage of backlash from fans who thought her appearance was “unfit” for the character she played.

Did Danielle Rose Russell Go Through Weight Loss?

People have begun to speculate about changes in Russell’s appearance after a few years have passed following the incident.

The majority of them claim she went through a difficult weight reduction journey in recent years as a result of the criticism she received.

“Is Danielle Rose Russell slimmer now? I believe she’s lovely anyway, but she appears thinner to me “one of her Twitter followers commented.

Many people commented on the picture, saying that the actress appeared smaller in current photos than she did in 2018.

“Others may have noticed, but that’s exactly what they wanted. She had shed a significant amount of weight “Russell received a tweet from a well-wisher.

The actress has yet to respond to the claims, but her admirers appear to be highly confident in her weight loss. The majority of them are defending Russell, stating that the internet’s condemnation of her was unjustified.

People are gradually realizing how fat-shaming destroys a person’s self-confidence, and that no one should have to go through the anguish because of how their body appears.

How Danielle Rose Russell Handled the Body-Shaming

Since the age of ten, the New Jersey native has been acting and modeling. She has been working in the sector for over a decade. Russell’s debut role was as the 14-year-old daughter of a Russian drug dealer in the film A Walk Among the Tombstones.

The following year, she earned her big break when she starred in Aloha as the daughter of Bradley Cooper’s character. Despite her early success in the industry, the actress has spoken out about feeling incapable of performing or acting on television on several occasions. She felt moved to speak up after being told she was “too big” to play her character on The CW’s Legacies.

“I will seldom address this but it’s incredibly upsetting that people are calling me unworthy, a horrible actress, or insulting me because I have curves,” the actress posted on her Instagram story.

She informed her followers that having a curvier physique gives her a sense of empowerment as a woman. She went on to say that it is terribly disappointing that people must assess her based on her differences from other Hollywood stars.
