Fivio Foreign was recently featured on the Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast, where he revealed that he earned a $5,000 advance for his contract with Mase’s RichFish label. After hearing the song Blixky Inna Box, He was eager to collaborate with Mase. Fivio signed the document without consulting a lawyer after being presented with it. Fivio stated:

“‘Yo, dude,’ said the n***a who took me to him. ‘Just sign that crap, you bugger,’ I say. ‘Yeah, read it.’ ‘OK, just sign it,’ he says. It’s fine.’ So I just signed it.”

Foreign stated that he expected it to continue a long time, but it did not, despite his appreciation for Mase’s understanding of the music business and the impact he had on him. He said, ”

“I’m not going to weep or moan over spilled milk. This is a choice I’ve already taken. For now, I’m in a better position. He gets what he gets… But I have complete control over my finances.”

The purchase has not yet been completed, although Mase is no longer the owner of Fivio’s publication. Foreign said that when his career began, he moved to Columbia Records, and his debut studio album, B.I.B.L.E., was released in April 2022.

The rapper, also known as Mason Durell Betha, worked with Bad Boy Records founder Sean “Diddy” Combs in the late 1990s. He had six Billboard Hot 100 songs and eventually received notoriety for his albums Harlem World, Double Up, and Welcome Back. He has made a lot of money through his profession as a rapper and television personality, and he also owns a record company called RichFish Records. Mason started his career in high school as a member of the rap group Children of the Corn. In 1996, Mason met Cudda Love via his sister, and the two traveled to a rap conference in Atlanta, Georgia, where they met Sean “Puff Daddy” Combs. Mason secured a $250,000 contract with Combs’ Bad Boy Records and began participating in many projects. Harlem World, his debut studio album, was released in October 1997, and its singles were similarly successful. He has made cameo appearances on other artists’ tracks.

 

 

In 1998, he founded All Out Records and released his second album, Double Up, in 1999. He took a five-year vacation from music to attend Clark Atlanta University and become an ordained priest. In 2004, he released his third album, Welcome Back. Mason took another vacation in 2007 but returned in 2009 when Michael Jackson died. He has appeared in a number of additional tracks, including Uptown Boy, Best I Ever Had, Get It, and others. In 2012, he left Bad Boy Records.
