Julia Haart’s former husband, Silvio Scaglia, has abandoned an $850,000 lawsuit against her. Silvio Scaglia, who has an estimated net worth of $1-1.5 billion as of Septemeber 2023, first filed the complaint in February 2022. He said Julia withdrew the money from a Freedom Holding account. According to Us Weekly, Julia’s staff said that the accusation was “not founded upon reality.”
Julia was first seen by the public during the first season of Netflix’s My Unorthodox Life. Julia was introduced to the program as a fashion designer and mother of four residing in Manhattan. She rose to prominence after fleeing her ultra-Orthodox Jewish community in Monsey, New York. Julia’s life seemed to be wonderful until the conclusion of season one, however during season two of My Unorthodox Life, Julia was seen in the midst of a difficult divorce with Silvio. Silvio and Julia have been involved in a court struggle since early 2022.

Silvio Scaglia’s and My Unusual Life Julia Haart married in June of 2019.
Scaglia is a Swiss-born media and technology entrepreneur who was born in 1958. The co-founder of Freedom Holding is the creator of Fastweb, an Italian telecommunications firm. The Elite World Group is controlled by this holding corporation. Silvio became the leader of Elite World Group in 2011. In 2020, he also started SHS Management, an AI-powered asset management firm. According to Bustle, Silvio has a net worth of $1-1.5 billion.
Silvio attended the Turin Polytechnic University. He began his professional career in the aerospace sector. He was also a consultant with McKinsey & Company. Silvio was named CEO of Omnitel, a start-up telecommunications business, in 1995. In 1999, he founded his own firm, e.Biscom, alongside banker Francesco Micheli. When the firm went public in 2000, he was reportedly valued at 10 billion Euros. After a merger, e.Biscom became Fastweb.
Silvio sold his stake in the firm to Swisscom after being named one of the Most Influential Innovators in New Technology. He also established Babelgum, a YouTube rival that was dissolved in 2012. Silvio married My Unorthodox Life actress Julia in June 2019 after divorcing his first wife Monica Aschei in 2018. Julia was appointed CEO and co-owner of Elite World Group the same year.
Julia filed for divorce from Silvio on February 9, 2022, after two years of marriage. During the couple’s divorce, the designer was fired from Elite World Group. Days later, Page Six claimed that Julia had filed a restraining order petition against Silvio, claiming that she was “terrified” of him. According to her petition:
“In January 2022, I confronted [Silvio] about his abusive conduct and told him that anybody who heard how he behaves and talks to me would think he is a disgusting guy. In reaction, [he] threatened me, saying, ‘I will murder you if you ever speak to the public about how I treat you or the kids.'”
Silvio and Julia have been embroiled in several litigations throughout their continuing divorce struggle, including an $850,000 claim against Julia for misused cash. Silvio, on the other hand, dismissed the complaint. Julia, the star of My Unorthodox Life, told TMZ on December 14:
“I feel the fact that Silvio dropped these lawsuits with prejudice, meaning dismissed permanently, on the day discovery was due, says volumes. I paid no money and want to continue my fraud and defamation action against Silvio and others implicated in those suits. Now, my goal and priorities are to recover with the help and support of my family, and to continue to establish enterprises that will empower people.”
My Unorthodox Life Season 2 launched on Netflix on December 2, 2022, with more fashion, family, female empowerment, spirituality, fabulousness, and, of course, Haart.
