Thomas “Nephew Tommy” Miles, born on May 18, 1967, graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in theatre. He also joined the Royal Shakespeare Company while studying for his degree. Thomas was cast in a number of roles via the theatrical company.
At the start of his acting career, he landed a big part in the main cast of David M. Matthews’ crime thriller film N-Secure (2010). Following that, he appeared in The Heart Specialist (2011), a romantic comedy directed, written, and co-produced by Dennis Cooper. He also appeared in another comedy film, Think Like a Man (2012), which was based on Steve Harvey’s book Act Like a Lady, Thinks Like a Man (2009). The picture was a huge hit, grossing $96.1 million.
After dabbling in acting, the Ready To Love presenter moved on to stand-up comedy, where he rose to prominence. He appeared at the Essence Music Festival and opened for Luther Vandross.
