After Four Failed Marriages, Howard Hewett Is Still looking For love And Companionship

Howard Hewett

After four failed marriages, Howard Hewett is still searching for a partner. In Unsung, Hewett talked about his four weddings and other elements of his life, such as his songwriting work. It’s a documentary series that profiles some of the underappreciated R&B, Soul, and Gospel singers featured in the series. Despite four failed marriages, Hewitt stated that he was still looking for someone who could handle his nature.

The singer added, “I haven’t found the guy who could handle all my changes.”

His first wife was found in California by Howard Hewett.

After graduating high school, Hewett relocated to California and began touring with Beverly Hills, a famous band. Howard Hewett hasn’t found a life partner yet. A few months later, the late Don Cornelius, creator of Soul Train, introduced the singer to his first wife, Rainey Riley-Cunningham. Cunningham was Cornelius’ assistant and a Soul Train dancer. LaKiva Siani and Rainey Daze were born due to the couple’s marriage. As a musician on the road, Hewett became enamored with another woman while away from home on tour. In other words, I wasn’t a good guy. “I was unfaithful,” he confessed, and in 1993, he and his wife divorced.

Even though Hewett and Mori Molina had divorced, he continued working and ultimately ran into each other at an after-party. It’s unclear when the couple was married, but they were nabbed for narcotics possession in January 1986. Before Molina’s arrest, Hewett said he had no idea what kind of narcotics dealings the man was getting into. His wife was sentenced to two years in prison, but he was acquitted because the jury reached a different conclusion about his guilt or guiltlessness.

It is unclear when the couple divorced, although they had just been married for two years.

Marriages No. 3 and No. 4 for Howard Hewett

The following year, Hewett signed with Elektra and worked on releasing his first solo record. During this time, he also worked with other artists and met Nia Peeples, his third wife, a multi-talented performer and singer-songwriter. For her debut record, Peeples’ company sought out Hewitt. They met while working on a recording and clicked right away. However, despite his reservations, the singer fell in love with someone who worked in the music industry. After releasing his self-titled record, the couple married and had a baby boy. In addition, Hewett and Peeples were awarded custody of Hewett’s two oldest children. However, the marriage did not survive, with Peeples saying that Hewett’s partying and infidelity caused their breakup.

The singer was divorced for two years before remarrying. During this time, he was solely concerned with furthering his career as a solo performer. Hewett also had a daughter, Anissa, with Angela Bloom-Hewett, a caterer. Because of the length of his fourth marriage, many admirers believed he had finally discovered true love.

However, in 2012, they divorced after 14 years of marriage. The singer hasn’t found love since then.
