Icy Wyatt is a TikTok user who was detained on Monday for allegedly attacking a police officer and another person with a pistol. Two charges of aggravated assault with a dangerous weapon, one count of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, one count of violence on an officer, and one count of resisting arrest were filed against the 23-year-old. The TikTok inventor is well-known for posting lip-sync performances, lifestyle videos, and other such things. He has over 850,000 followers and 28 million likes on his Instagram account. He often uploads culinary videos, vlogs, and mukbangs to YouTube, where he has over 20,000 followers.

Why was Icy Wyatt arrested?

The TikToker was driving recklessly in Sunrise, Florida, on Monday night before pulling over in the middle of the road, according to court filings. Wyatt was contacted by two guys in another automobile who asked him to relocate his car since it was obstructing the traffic. The guys then got into their car and drove away.

However, the interaction allegedly irritated him, and he followed them to a neighboring Chick-Fil-A parking lot. Both parties got out of their automobiles and got into a fierce altercation. The disagreement heated up when Icy Wyatt went into his vehicle glove box and took out a revolver, flashing it at the two males. According to official accounts, one of them turned around to get back into the vehicle, prompting Wyatt to shoot him in the back of the head with his gun.

The TikToker left the scene immediately after the event, but authorities were able to locate him using his tag information. They quickly apprehended him and detained him, but the 23-year-old resisted arrest. During his struggle, Icy Wyatt kicked one of the police officers in the leg and then kicked the cage bars of the cop vehicle. During his arrest, Wyatt was claimed to have called the officer a “c***” and a “b**ch.” The TikToker had a court appearance the next day, after which he was released on bail.

“The rumors are false, you people. Several news pieces describing what truly transpired will be published shortly. The cops were involved in several wrongdoings. And my girlfriend and I are really fine.”

The TikTok caption assured his viewers that the two would comment on the topic whenever they were legally permitted to do so. The video has already become one of his most popular, with 894.7k views in only one day.

 

The influencer wrote in another tweet:

“I will say more about this when I am legally permitted to do so. First and foremost, I need the services of a lawyer. There are several news items that disseminate misleading information. I’m hoping to have things straightened up shortly. This was a terrible accident, and I’m still healing.”

He responded to other tweets about the event, alleging that after “complying with the cops and doing everything they said,” he was nevertheless beaten to the ground.
