Ilia Kulik is a professional figure skater. He has won several championships dating back to 1995. He is best known for winning the 1998 Olympic gold medal and the 1997–1998 Grand Prix Final. Similarly, in 1995, he won the European and World Junior Championships. He was only 17 years old when he won these titles in 1995.

In terms of his skating career, he began at the tender age of five. He finished ninth at his first senior World Championships. This well-known skater captured silver the following season at the 1996 World Championships.
