Is Anne Hathaway A Good Singer? Fans Are Adoring The Actress

Anne Hathaway

Anne Hathaway is a lot more than simply an actor, as it turns out. On Tuesday’s edition of The Kelly Clarkson Show, it was evident that a singing competition between the actress and singer Kelly Clarkson would not result in only one winner.

During a game of Sing That Name That Tune on the daytime television variety talk program, Hathaway stunned Clarkson when the singer failed to name one of her big songs before Hathaway did.

Hathaway won the game with a cover of Clarkson’s song, which the singer herself couldn’t recognize.

The actress was leading the score at one point during the game (presented by comedian Matt Iseman), in which Anne Hathaway and Kelly Clarkson competed to be the first to recognize and perform a song from its music. When Clarkson begged the band to perform “a freaking song,” she knew they chose her 2004 smash single Since U Been Gone.

The song was instantly identified by Hathaway, who sang out an impassioned performance of it, prompting the talk show host to tumble to the ground. Clarkson, who had lifted herself up from the floor and thrown her arm up in rage when Hathaway finished singing, asked:

“How could you figure it out simply from that?”

Hathaway was quick to respond:

“If you don’t realize how much we all liked the song, Kelly Clarkson, everyone here recognized it on the first one. It was obvious to everyone in the room!”

Clarkson responded to the actress by saying:

“Should I simply give up? This is humiliating… Whatever the case may be, I’m delighted for you. Take the wheel, Jesus.” Surprised followers took to Twitter to express their delight.

Anne Hathaway’s performance went viral nearly as soon as the footage was posted on the talk show’s YouTube account, shocking or surprising millions of followers.

Fans who couldn’t believe how well the actress could sing had just one question, as evidenced by a large number of tweets that followed the same pattern.

Anne Hathaway Has Already Demonstrated Her Singing Abilities
