He began attending treatment in 2005, two years after James was born, to conquer his d*ug abuse. He was eventually able to get clean and credits James for motivating him to do so.

Unfortunately, James’s day-to-day existence is hampered by Angelman syndrome, a complicated genetic disease. It affects his neurological system, leading him to have problems with mobility, speech, intelligence, and other areas. Despite the fact that there is no treatment for this disease, James has been working hard to conquer it and live a self-sufficient existence.

His father, Colin, said that James had trouble viewing a movie since his condition limited his ability to sit still for more than 10 minutes. However, as of recently, James is able to accomplish so due to his hard work and persistence. Colin has expressed his delight and pleasure in his son’s bravery. And he is always utilizing his clout to promote research and raise awareness about this disease. He has also gone and spoken at a fundraiser for the Foundation for Angelman Syndrome Therapeutics (FAST).
