Joanna Page began her acting career on stage, primarily in costume dramas for the Royal National Theatre and the Royal Shakespeare Company, which led to roles in films such as “From Hell,” “Mine All Mine,” and “Love Actually” and “Miss Julie.”

She rose to prominence after playing the primary character of Stacey Shipman in the BBC comedy “Gavin & Stacey,” as well as a key role in the 2001 BBC drama “The Cazalets.”
