Joe and Meg Piercy, a husband and wife team, will make their HGTV debut on the network’s new home restoration program, Renovation Goldmine. The program, which premieres on Saturday, April 30, will feature the pair refurbishing residences on a tight budget. Joe and Meg will search for unwanted goods or ‘gold’ in households in the eight-episode series. They will then sell them to raise funding for the house’s makeover. “Find the gold,” the pair’s favorite saying, is derived from this.

According to the show’s official description:

“The season will feature Chicago’s Joe and Meg Piercy, founders of a thriving design and restoration firm committed to reusing the goldmine of treasures discovered in customers’ houses. In each episode, the team will repurpose old furniture and other items owned by their customers and utilize the money saved to provide people with their ideal house restoration.”
