Johnny McDaid

Johnny McDaid and Courtney Cox, who have been together for a long time, looked lovely in matching black ensembles at this year’s BRIT Awards. Courtney Cox took a break from promoting her current picture, Scream, in London to attend the awards event at London’s O2 Arena with her long-time singer boyfriend Johnny McDaid. Cox was dressed in a black silk blouse and a long velvet skirt. She accessorized with chandelier earrings and a matching purse, while McDaid, 45, wore a monochrome ensemble for the evening.

The celebrity couple’s relationship

Courtney Cox began dating Johnny McDaid after her divorce from David Arquette in 2013. The pair met via a common acquaintance, Ed Sheeran, a popular singer. He claims that:

“I believe I performed the ‘Courtney meets Johnny, Johnny meets Courtney’ trick.” Sacha Baron Cohen arranged the meeting. It’s simply two individuals who fell in love, and I hope they’re content.”

Courtney Cox and Johnny McDaid were previously engaged, but the relationship ended. They announced their engagement in June of 2014, however, they did not marry. Cox claims that:

“He isn’t my fiancé.” We were engaged to get married, but now we simply hang around. We called it quits on our engagement, he relocated to England, and then we reconnected, and it’s really better than it was before.”

When asked about her lover, the Friends actress said that McDaid is:

“…a fantastic listener. And I’ve never met somebody who was more patient. He’s a terrific source of counsel. I like his heart and his aspirations. His values. He’s really gifted and clearly musical, but he’s also a poet and writer. He’s simply very clever, which I find extremely se*y. And then there’s the fact that he’s stunning.”

When questioned about the couple’s wedding plans, Cox said:

“I’m not sure. I’m not averse to that at all. I just don’t consider it.”
