Jon McGreevey Was Arrested For Fabricating Information In A Child Trafficking Case

Jon McGreevey

Jon McGreevey, a US Senate candidate from Maryland, was arrested on July 15, 2022, for fraudulently reporting a child sex trafficking case. According to the Harford County Sheriff’s Office, the Senate candidate was charged with making false statements to police after reporting in April that a man was allegedly forcing a young girl aged 10 to 12 to engage in sexual activities with male clients at an adult bookstore.

Ryan Dark White, 54, a candidate running under the name Dr. Jon McGreevey, said the assault occurred at an adult shop in the 3000 block of Pulaski Highway in Edgewood. However, the subsequent inquiry revealed that there was no evidence to back up the assertion. There were no witnesses to the alleged conduct, and the detectives assigned to the Harford County Youngster Advocacy Center identified the adult man and the child in the issue. Deputies claim that:

“Detectives interviewed witnesses, investigated leads, obtained digital evidence, and identified the adult man and adolescent girl named in the first complaint. According to the inquiry, no sex acts were done or offered by any of the persons in the facility as stated by White.”

A week before his arrest, on July 7, McGreevey was interrogated by investigators. He is being detained at the Harford County Detention Center while awaiting his appearance in front of the District Court Commissioner.

Who exactly is Ryan Dark White? Netizens are questioning if Jon McGreevey’s use of a pseudonym is ‘legal.’

Jon McGreevey, who self-describes as “Patriot. Whistleblower, Maryland 2022 Candidate “is a well-known online personality. His now-defunct Twitter account (@/Johnheretohelp) had gotten a lot of attention online. However, many of his long-time fans were unaware that he was also a politician vying for the government.

In a news release, Harford County Sheriff Jeffrey R. Gahler stated:

“It is dishonorable for a candidate for public office to fabricate such a tale and exploit it to further his own political agenda.”

Referring to Baltimore County sheriff candidate Andy Kuhl, who was seen with McGreevey in an interview concerning child trafficking gangs, the Harford County Sheriff stated:

“It is even more terrible than another someone aspiring for a job in law enforcement would accept such a clearly bogus story in order to achieve political momentum – nothing more.”

Republican Representative Jon McGreevey is one of ten Republican candidates standing for US Senate in Maryland, according to Ballotpedia.org. The primary election will take place on Tuesday, July 19, 2022.
