Professionally, Jordan Falcusan was a Eurosport Marketing Manager. As Valtteri Filppula’s wife, she gained fame. The Detroit Red Wings drafted Valtteri Filppula in 2002 and kept him until 2012. He joined the Lightning in 2013 after a five-year stint with the Red Wings.

He was traded to the Flyers for Mark Streit in 2017. Travis Konecny was a Flyer teammate. He signed with the Islanders as a free agent in 2018. Filppula signed a one-year, $2.75 million contract with the Islanders on July 1, 2018.

In 72 games for the playoff-bound Islanders, he scored 17 goals and 14 assists for 33 points. Filppula contributed four assists to the Islanders’ second-round win.

On July 1, 2018, he signed a two-year, $6 million contract with the Red Wings. On February 1, 2020, he became the eighth Finnish player to do so. He signed a one-year contract with Genève-Servette HC in the NL on August 24, 2021.
