For two years, he worked as a specialty reporter and meteorologist for KMTR-TV in Oregon.

Jordan has previous experience forecasting accurate weather for KEYE-TV in Austin and surrounding cities in Texas. During extreme weather conditions, he provided live updates and worked around-the-clock shifts.

As part of his work, the journalist was live on Twitter, Facebook, and CellitStudio text messages. He also hosted the lifestyle show We Are Austin.

Steele joined the King 5 media group as an evening meteorologist and host in March 2017. He was employed there until 2020. Steele began serving Quibi as the host the same year. His role entailed providing news on entertainment, outside events, sports, and other topics via the app.
