Joseph Charles Buttler (born 8 September 1990) is an English cricketer who currently serves as vice-captain of the England Test squad and the England One Day International (ODI) and Twenty20 International (T20I) teams. He is recognized as one of the best white-ball batters in the world. He has played in a number of Twenty20 tournaments, including the Indian Premier League with the Mumbai Indians and Rajasthan Royals. Buttler was raised in a Christian home. His father, John Buttler, was a Physical Education teacher, while his mother, Patricia Buttler, worked at home. He has two siblings: a brother and a sister. In 2017, Jos Buttler married Louise Webber. The couple had a daughter in 2019 and a second daughter in 2021.
