Jung Ho-Yeon, best known for her part in the Korean Netflix series Squid Game, has already established herself as a skilled actor. It was the model-turned-first actor’s acting role. She also received a SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by an Actor in a Drama Series for the same position at the 28th Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards.

While the world waits for Season 2 of the show and her likely return as Sae-byeok, the actress has already set her sights on another acclaimed project she would “love” to play in – HBO’s Euphoria, starring Zendaya.

Jung Ho-yeon Paid A Visit To The HBO Series Set

During her recent appearance at the Critics Choice Awards 2022, the actress revealed to Entertainment Tonight that she visited the Euphoria sets when the film was still in production.

“Once, I visited the set of Euphoria, and it was wonderful to see [it] again after Squid Game. It was strange since I felt so at ease simply sitting [about.] I am not a member of the Euphoria team, yet I felt protected and secure.”

She said she would “love” to appear on the Emmy-winning program and would not rule out a future cameo. While nothing is known regarding Jung Ho-appearance yeon’s in the upcoming season of Euphoria, her future in Squid Game Season 2 has received its first ray of optimism.

The director of Squid Game has a plan for Sae-comeback byeok’s

During the red carpet event, Hwang Dong-hyuk joked that if the actress’ character, Sae-byeok, dies in Season 1, she may return as her twin sister in Season 2. While that may have been a joke, passionate admirers of Jung Ho-yeon are crossing their fingers.

She was portrayed in the first season of the Netflix series as Sae-byeok, a North Korean defector whose mother was apprehended and deported. At the same time, her father perished while attempting to flee.

Sae-byeok resided in South Korea with her brother and picked pockets in order to earn enough money to achieve her ambition of purchasing a house and reuniting her family.

She was an ideal candidate for the Squid Game. While she is one of the few survivors to make it to the final few rounds, she is fatally injured and dies before the last level.
