Kang Daniel, MC, is poised to return! This summer, the Upside Down singer will return as the primary presenter of Mnet’s “Street Man Fighter.” He’ll host a slew of great dance groups, including 1MILLION, WeDemBoyz, BANK TWO BROTHERS, PRIME KINGZ, YGX, Mbitious, and JustJerk, showcasing his incredible hosting abilities once again. Kang Daniel was probably certainly picked to host the male version of “Street Woman Fighter.”
Kang Daniel is not only technically trained in b-boying, but he also has an excellent understanding of dancing as a result of his blooming idol career in both group and solo projects, and he is a compelling presenter. He previously hosted “Street Woman Fighter,” a South Korean dance survival program in which eight female dance teams competed to be Korea’s greatest female dance crew to represent K-dance.
What is the story of Kang Daniel’s Street Man Fighter?
On January 5, Mnet published a trailer for the male version of the program, named “Street Man Fighter,” which will now air in August. Mnet has selected its final batch of participants who will compete in a heated dance fight to win the grand prize after months of training. Then, in April, Rain, a prominent singer, and entrepreneur was announced as the presenter of Mnet’s “Street Man Fighter” prequel series.
The precursor, titled “Be Mbitious,” enabled lone dancers to fight for a seat in the “Mbitious” project dance team, which was set to join the roster of “Street Man Fighter.” The show’s applications were available to all performing artists, including K-pop celebrities, choreographers, academics, and world-class dancers, and only the best of the best would be picked to join the “Avengers” dance group “Mbitious.”
This precursor program was hosted by singer Rain, who is well-loved and worshiped by budding singers and artists and acts as an inspiration to the contestants. Finally, owing to popular demand, the Antidote singer was picked as the MC for the survival show on July 15. In response to the news, he stated:
“I am overjoyed to be back as the primary host of Street Man Fighter.” The forthcoming event will be full of fun and entertainment, and I will try my best to ensure that you have a great time. Please keep an eye out for the fierce rivalry.”
He went on to say:
“I agreed to feature in the next program because I have great faith in producer Choi Jeong Nam and his team from our past collaboration on one of his earlier series.”

The singer’s name is almost synonymous with the “Street Fighter” lineage, having hosted or been affiliated with “Street Woman Fighter,” “Street Dancer Girl Fighter,” and now, “Street Man Fighter.” Fans are naturally thrilled that the Parade singer would be anchoring the program and have hailed the return of “MC Kang Daniel.”
Kang Daniel has also created the OST for “Street Man Fighter,” which will serve as the game’s major theme tune. The song will be a ballad that will offer the contestants hope and courage anytime they are dissatisfied while fighting for victory. However, it is unknown if the Antidote vocalist would perform the OST or not.
On July 23, Kang Daniel will conduct a fansign event. On July 23 at 2:00 pm KST (10:30 am IST), global fandom site UNIVERSE will host an offline fan signing event for the PARANOIA vocalist, followed by a 1:1 live call (1:1 LIVE CALL) event on July 24 at 7:00 pm KST (3:30 pm IST). The fan gathering, themed “BLACK GAMBLER,” is anticipated to draw at least 60 people.
