It all boils down to the women of Good Bones when it comes to fascinating new houses in the city of Indianapolis.”

Before deciding on house restoration, Good Bones’ mother and daughter worked in various fields.

58-year-old Karen E. Laine worked as a lawyer full-time. She earned her law degree from Indiana University’s Robert H. McKinney School of Law. She also worked as a defense attorney after graduation. She started her legal career in 1990 as an associate attorney at Cohen & Malad. She then worked as a Deputy Prosecutor for the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office. Later, at the Jensen Law company, she received criminal defense, family law, mediation, and guardian ad litem services. Laine does, however, practice law on a part-time basis at the moment.

She had no idea what she wanted to pursue after graduating from Indiana University. As a result, she began working as a waiter.

However, when she purchased a $37,500 old house, the 31-year-old enlisted her mother’s assistance in repairing it. That’s when she recognized she had a natural talent for house construction. They then formed their own firm, Two Chicks And A Hammer. Mina also married Steve, whom she met on Facebook, in June 2016. The couple had their first child, Jack Richard Hawk, in 2018, and will welcome their second child, daughter Charlotte, in September 2020. Mina will play a significant role in the future musical since her mother want to be with her husband, who was stricken with cancer in 2019.
