Career

Karen Hunter began her career as a sportswriter for the newspaper in 1998. She then began writing business stories as well as other features. Karen was hired as a journalism instructor at New York University in 1996. She held this position until 1998. She has also served on the New York Daily News Editorial Board.

She went on to become a concurrent member of various news teams for the New York Daily News in 1999. In 2002, she was appointed as an assistant visiting professor of administration at Hunter College.
