Katey Sagal began her career as a singer with the band The Group With No Name. Later, in 1973, she appeared as a backing vocalist for Bob Dylan and Tanya Tucke. She supported vocalists such as Olivia Newton-John. Finally, in June 2004, she released her first solo album, ‘Well…,’ followed by ‘Room.’ From 1985 to 1986, she played a newspaper journalist in a Chicago newspaper office in the serial ‘Mary.’

She was cast as Peggy Bundy in the sitcom “Married… with Children.” Furthermore, the series lasted ten years (1987–1997). Moving on, Peg Bundy rose to prominence during this time period. As her initial success grew, she began to receive offers for television shows. As a result, she appeared in many more television films and appeared as a guest star. She provided the voice of Spinelli’s mother in the children’s animated film ‘Recess.’

She provided her voice for ‘Captain Leela’ in the science fiction comedy ‘Futurama.’ She appeared as a guest on three episodes of That ’70s Show.
