Kevin Love was a Lake Oswego Lakers high school basketball player. This player later competed in the Reebok ABCD Camp against other top-ranked players. Then, while playing for the Southern California All-Stars, he led the team to a perfect score of 46-0 and won three MVP awards.

Furthermore, he was named Gatorade National Male Athlete of the Year. This player was a Parade All-American as well. He decided to play college basketball at UCLA for North Carolina in July 2006.
