Richtman is an industry insider recognized for disclosing fascinating Marvel-related info. Twitter users have speculated on whether the reports are accurate or not. They’ve also attempted to guess who the 49-year-old actor would portray.

New franchise acquisitions are a certainty with the company always innovating and extending its multiple properties. Lee Jung-jae, the 49-year-old South Korean veteran actor who has been winning Best Actor accolades for Squid Game, might be the newest addition to the Marvel universe. Naturally, there has been no official confirmation or rejection of this news from any source, but social media is buzzing over this hypothetical endeavor.
One of the key discussion topics is the role that Lee Jung-jae would play. Many people associate Mr. Negative with the supervillain Martin Li. Twitter users assume that the Squid Game actor is playing a supervillain with a personality condition. The antagonist, first seen in the 2007 Amazing Spider-Man #1 comic, is a Crime Lord/Mr. Negative on the one hand, and the kind, kind Martin Li on the other.

According to some fans, the most recent film, Spider-Man: No Way Home, hinted to Mr. Negative possibly entering the MCU. When Norman Osborn arrives for assistance, Aunt May is seen helping out at a soup kitchen named F.E.A.S.T. (Food, Emergency, and Shelter Training). According to comic book legend, FEAST is run by Martin Li. So Marvel fans have enough proof of Mr. Negative’s live-action debut.
In April of this year, Stephen Oyoung, who portrays Mr. Negative in the Spider-Man PlayStation games, launched a campaign to push Marvel to grant him a live-action part as well. However, no formal word has been issued.

Furthermore, Marvel has a history of hiring Korean performers. Park Seo-joon was just confirmed to feature in Captain Marvel 2 (after weeks of rumors and conjecture), Ma Dong-seok portrayed Gilgamesh in The Eternals, and Claudia Kim as Dr. Helen Cho in Avengers: Age of Ultron.
This rumor might be one of several that come true, and it’s most likely a PR stunt. It’s also uncertain if Mr. Negative, if genuine, will be presented in a new series or very-dicey future Spider-Man movies in the MCU.
