Lindsay Arnold Announced That She Is Going To Leave “Dancing With The Stars”

Lindsay Arnold

After more than three decades on the ABC network, Dancing With The Stars (DWTS) will return to Disney+ on September 19 with its newest iteration. This, however, is not the only change this season. Lindsay Arnold, a professional ballroom and Latin dancer, has opted to leave the program. The dancer was once a So You Think You Can Dance participant and has been a DWTS choreographer for the last decade. On August 31, she announced her departure on Instagram, writing:

“I wanted to let you all know that I have chosen not to participate in this season of Dancing With the Stars.”

The dancer opted to move away from the program in order to concentrate on herself and her family. She described the choice as “one of the most difficult” she had to make and expressed her enthusiasm for the upcoming season.

Lindsay Arnold has decided to quit DWTS before the end of season 31.

Dancing With The Stars will launch on Disney+ for the first time in its 30-year history. The event will include more celebrities dancing to a variety of music and styles. It connects celebrities with choreographers in an attempt to capture the hearts of the judges and the viewers. Lindsay Arnold has been a DWTS contestant for the previous ten years. After participating in So You Think You Can Dance Season 9 and reaching the Top 4, viewers first saw her on the program as a professional dancer. While she liked her time on the program, she has opted not to return for the newest episode in order to devote more time to her family.

Arnold announced her departure with an Instagram post in which she said that she would be the season’s greatest fangirl and that she is extremely thrilled to see all of her pals on it.

She went on to say:

“Don’t worry, I’ll still be here discussing all things mom, delving further into our TTC experience, working on my exercise program The Movement Club, and so much more!”

Fans and friends alike expressed their appreciation and support for the article. Nikki Bell, from DWTS Season 25, remarked that the pro would be much missed and thanked Arnold for being a fantastic mother, offering her and the family her love. Sean Spicer, Lindsay’s 2019 companion, stated:

“It was an honor to work with you. Every day, I observed how loving, patient, and kind you are. The program was better for you, and Sam and Sage now have you on full-time.”

The 28-year-old Utah dancer began dancing at the age of four when her mother enrolled her in dance classes to help her discover a passion. She began competing in ballroom dance contests at the age of eight.

Arnold finished second on DWTS: Juniors as a mentor to Rylee Arnold with partner Miles Brown

Lindsay Arnold is not the first professional dancer who has left the program before the season’s debut. Sharna Burgess also confirmed her departure from the dancing competition program. The ballerina just gave birth to her son Zane with Brian Austin Green and has said that she is not prepared to be away from her kid for at least 10 hours every day. She also said that she is a full-time nursing mother who loves her role as a mother and does not want to restrict her time with her baby.
