Louise Harrison, the late Beatles lead guitarist George Harrison’s sister, died on January 30, 2023. Louise was 91 years old when she died, according to reports. In addition, Harrison got hospice care in Florida shortly before her death. Marty Scott, a member of the Beatles, announced her death, saying:

“Louise Harrison died yesterday… It’s difficult for me to express myself right now, but Lou meant everything to me… My life has been permanently transformed from the day I met her… It was just a few weeks after George’s death that a cyclone of change began in my whole universe. She’s been a part of my family for almost 20 years.”

Marty also referred to Louise Harrison as his sister, grandma, kid, and closest friend. Marty, on the other hand, discussed how her narrative should be presented eventually. He stated:

“She lived to be 91 years old, which is incredible. I saw her a few weeks ago, and as we said our goodbyes, it seemed like she was saying them for the final time. Lou was eager to get off this aircraft and onto a better place.”

Louise Harrison rose to fame in the 1960s as she began supporting and promoting The Beatles. She also authored an autobiography entitled, My Kid Brother’s Band a.k.a. The Beatles! in 2014.

The Beatles! in 2014. While Louise Harrison was the eldest sister and a few years older than George, the lead guitarist of the band died of cancer in November 2001.
