Marcus Anthony Lemonis was born in Beirut, Lebanon, on November 16, 1973. When he was a baby, he was adopted by Sophia and Leo Lemonis of Miami, Florida.

He graduated from Christopher Columbus High School. He was introduced to the automotive industry at a young age. He received his BA in political science from Milwaukee’s Marquette University in 1995.
