Marion Cotillard was born in Paris on September 30, 1975, but grew up in Orléan. Her family is artistically inclined. She was born to actor, teacher, former mime, and theater director Jean-Claude Cotillard and Monique Niseema Theillaud ( who is an actress and drama teacher). Her father is of Breton heritage. Marion grew up with two younger twin brothers, Quentin and Guillaume, with whom she shared her childhood. She was 15 years old when she enrolled in the Orléans Conservatoire d’art Dramatique. Marion moved to Parsi after finishing high school in 1994. She used to imitate Louise Brooks and Greta Garbo as a child.
