Martha Stewart’s latest Super Bowl ad for sketchers, which appeared on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, shows her presumably getting a tattoo of her close buddy Snoop Dogg.

On Friday, February 10, the 81-year-old star posted a picture of herself getting a tattoo on Instagram, with the charming caption:

“My Puppy! @scottcampbell, thank you for the lovely tattoo. Ink will always be tied to my fave @snoopdogg.”

Artist Scott Campbell drew an image of her closest buddy Snoop Dogg with his distinctive haircut, goatee, and sunglasses on her upper arm, with the words “My Dogg” etched beneath. Many online users were taken aback by the post, with many scrutinizing every detail of the image to see whether it was genuine.

“Graduated from Queen to Goddess,” said netizens of Martha Stewart’s Snoop Dogg tattoo.

Netizens rushed to express their opinions and reply when Martha Stewart tweeted a picture of herself with Snoop Dogg ink. Stewart was dubbed a “bad*ss” and a “true gangster” by many. Others were taken aback and remarked on the two celebrities’ good connection. Many people questioned if the tattoo was genuine and not simply for the Super Bowl ad.

Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart have been buddies for almost a decade.

Stewart brought the rapper to her culinary program in 2008, and the two quickly became friends. Dogg quickly became a regular on the program. Both are constantly complimentary of one another, with the Drop It Like It’s Hot singer confessing that he told everyone they were closest friends. They have never dated, though.

Dogg remarked in an interview with Rolling Stone:

“I’ve never met someone who compares to Martha Stewart. When we meet together, we naturally combine love, peace, and harmony.”

In her 2018 cookbook, From Crook to Cook: Platinum Recipes From tha Boss Dogg’s Kitchen, Stewart also wrote about her particular friendship with her rapper pal. Stewart and Dogg have not commented on the tattoo.
